It is hard to describe my co-op experience in just a short paragraph because I have taken away so much from it. What started out as a simple internship, turned into one of the most memorable experiences I have had the pleasure of being a part of. INPO has a very unique program that allows its Co-ops to get leadership experience by becoming a Team Lead for a semester. This position alone has given me such an edge over my competition during interviews that I cannot stress how valuable it is. It is such a rare thing to find; a new college graduate with real-world leadership experience. INPO is an amazing learning environment, but what you put in is what you get out of it. Push yourself to see how much you can get out of it, and I know that you will find it just as rewarding as I have. When applying for permanent jobs, there has never been a situational question asked that I did not have multiple perfect examples lined up. And employers are thoroughly impressed by the depth of your understanding of how business works. Not only does INPO teach you the technical skills you will need in the future, but most importantly it teaches you how to interact with people, which you will learn is the most important skill of all.
